Lunch with Principal and Rolls for Role Models - November
Each month teachers choose students who exhibit the character trait that we have been studying for that month, and those students are recognized at our monthly character assemblies. For November, the character trait was Balance. Students who were chosen for this also attended the "Rolls for Role Models" breakfast given by Principal Gundersen. We also have a drawing at our assembly for students who received Paws to Praise tickets during the month. Students whose names were drawn ate lunch with Principal Gundersen. We enjoyed the time together and the fun conversations we had!
PAVER DAY
Check out all the pictures that were taken during Paver Day! All of our students took part in designing and creating pavers for our Outdoor Learning Center. A special thanks to Greg Shafer and his crew for donating their time and materials for this project. Not only did our students beautify our Outdoor Learning Center, they made memories that will last a lifetime!
CLASS Act Gives Back
Representatives from CLASS Act visited Northeast Elementary to present to us a check in the amount of $4500. The money will be use to purchase technology items for the classrooms. We are so appreciative of the generous donation made available by CLASS Act! Thank you!

Sam the Moose Feetloose
Sam the Moose, from Good Samaritan Hospital came to Northeast to talk to the students about the Feetloose healthy program. All students were given a log book and a pedometer as a gift from the Good Samaritan Hospital. Students have the opportunity to keep track of the number of steps they take each day during the month of October. Students who participate and turn in their completed log books will be eligible to win a bike, iPod, RipStick, and other prizes! Thank you, Good Samaritan Hospital!
