Welcome to Northeast Elementary!

Hello! Welcome to Northeast Elementary.  I have been the principal at Northeast since 2009.  I received my undergraduate degree from Kearney State College, my Master's Degree from Peru State College, and my school and district administration certificates from Emporia State College.  

I am married to Gordon Gundersen who teaches math and coaches football and golf at Hiawatha High School in Hiawatha, Kansas. We have two daughters and four grandchildren.  

I went into education because I love working with kids and I have a passion for helping children be successful citizens in our society.
