Welcome

Welcome to my Northeast webpage! I am Mrs. Theresa Thiele, one of the Title Reading Teachers.  I attended UNK, where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary/Special Education and a Master's Degree in Reading.  I  have been a teacher with Kearney Public Schools since 1992.  I have taught a variety things during those years, including Special Education, Third Grade, Kindergarten and my current assignment, Reading Teacher. I taught at Central Elementary my first 8 years and the remainder have been at Northeast! 

 

I have a wonderful family - my husband Tim of 27 years, my daughters Morgan and Kylie, and my son Blake.  I enjoy spending time with them at home, at the lake and on the golf course! I love being outdoors, doing home improvement projects and spending time with family and friends!

 

I enjoy working with children on their reading skills.  My goal is to help kids see the importance of reading and to help them enjoy reading. We work on strategies and skills to help all readers perform at the best level they can!
