Hello!

Hello everyone!

Here are a few things about me to help you get to know me better! I grew up in North Platte, Nebraska and moved to Sutherland, Nebraska after elementary school. I graduated from Sutherland High School in 2017 and attended UNK where I studied elementary education and graduated in 2021. After student teaching and subbing around the district in Lexington for a year before I got hired to teach 1st grade. I stayed in Lexington for 2 years and am starting my second year with KPS.

I have a 16 month old son named Sawyer and he is the light of my life!  While it was great being home with Sawyer all summer, I am ready to get back to work!

I love animals, especially dogs, and I've had many pets in my life, including dogs, cats, hamsters, a guinea pig named Lil' Munch, and a ball python named Doodles. However, if I see a snake in the grass I will be running the other way!

Some of my hobbies are painting, walking, reading books, and going back to my hometown to spend time with family. My favorite holiday is the 4th of July and I love iced coffee!
