Ms. Lopez - 1st Grade

Welcome! I am very excited to getting to know your child and watching them grow throughout the year. Here are a few fun facts about me! 

I was born and raised in York, Nebraska. I attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney and graduated in 2009 with my degree in Early Childhood Unified.  I attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and graduated in 2011 with my masters in special education.  Since graduating in 2011, I have worked for Lexington Public Schools as an early childhood special education teacher.  In 2024, I accepted a 1st grade teaching position at Northeast Elementary school and I couldn't be more excited! 

I live in Kearney with my two children, Lilianna and Kai.  We spend a lot of time dancing, riding bikes, and having family game/movie nights.  I love to travel and have visited 10 different countries.
