Welcome to PSD!
My name is Marissa Maya. I have been teaching with KPS since 2012, right after receiving my Elementary Education certification from UNK. I earned my Master's degree in Special Education in 2017. I taught second grade for 5 years, and I am now the PSD teacher for K-3rd grades. I have been the PSD teacher since 2018, and I absolutely love our program! PSD stands for Personal Skills Development, and we are continually working to make our program the best for each individual student.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children. We love traveling, playing outside, swimming, and watching movies together.
I love being a teacher, and watching my students learn and grow!
