My name is Ms. Terah Maaske, and I am excited and proud to be a Northeast Bobcat. I am from
Nebraska, Loomis to be exact, and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Education from UNK this
past May. This will be my first year as a teacher and my second year at Northeast. I was lucky
enough to complete some classes for UNK at Northeast, one including Student Teaching this
last year. I was fortunate enough to meet some great kiddos while in Mrs. Hoffmaster’s first
grade class and Mrs. Chamberlain’s ESL classroom.

I have a true love for this career path I’m taking.
I can’t wait to begin this new year as a first grade teacher and work with many great students,
their parents, and the great community Kearney has to offer!
